It is a big thing getting married.

I remember vividly the feeling of rising anticipation just 30-minutes out from my own wedding. It came out of no where really. One minute I was laughing at jokes with my groomsmen, the next minute I felt quietly nervous. A shot of whiskey steadied the nerves and as they say, the rest is history.

But that feeling…it is something I remind myself of when I am photography a wedding ceremony. It reminds me to keep my eyes wide open and to be ready to capture those moments of emotion that can briefly present themselves. Moments like in this photo.

A moment when Sam saw his future wife Elizabeth, arm-in-arm with her father, walking down to marry him.
